I came here with a vison and it worked out pretty well so far. You may ask what that vison was? 

Well,  moving to the beautiful town of Gisborne and setting up a trade business was one of that vision. The other part was creating things, improving things and turning ideas into reality.  I have managed both and I'm still working on new ideas and techniques in the  renovation and tiling  industry. I personally see much potential for improvements especially in the wide field of showers.                 

There are quite a few things Tiles and More has created right here in Gisborne over the last 2 decades:

• a Shower Base Board, which is basically a double-sided reinforced tile-able sheet with an integrated slope to the waste

• a Construction Board, which is also a double-sided reinforced tile-able board and comes in different thicknesses 

• a NEW Shower Drain Design, based on the channel drain principle but rather more hygienic, more simplistic and easier to install

I'm an experienced tradesman for over 30 years  with a German Master Craftsman degree, called 'Handwerksmeister' and I've been known for my great workmanship,  honesty and reliability. It's a continuum which started with my grand dad, carried over to my dad and also to my brother in Germany. It's easy to see how our dedication to the trade industry is well ingrained into our genes...                   Even some of my first clients are still  in contact with me and my family despite being so far away from our former home. 

My master pieces are to be found all over in Gisborne, up and down the East Coast and in the country side, for example Teal Motor Lodge or the "Tree House" at Sheldrake's BnB in Whanarua Bay which got featured at an Suff NZ article.

Our range of work stretches from simply laying tiles onto floors or walls to creating beautiful bathrooms, custom-made showers,  wheelchair accessible bathrooms, stone tops or fire places. And of course we also  install underfloor heating for warm tiles. 

Small jobs like splash backs or repair jobs are important and welcome too.
